Christmas Heart

20Dec16

Another easy DIY project. For these Christmas decorations you’ll need air-dry clay, a heart shaped cookie cutter, stampin’ up! stamps, something pointy (to make the hole) and string. Hang on the tree or use them to jazz up your Christmas gift wrapping.

Do you ever have trouble remembering birthdays? A birthday board is a cute way of keeping the dates fresh in your mind. This is a commissioned piece (If it was my family birthday board there would be over 50 little circles!) that will be given as a present so I’ve had to cover the names on […]

I’ve been so busy sewing lately I haven’t had much of a chance to do any crafting.  Thankfully I had a friend who wanted to have a Stampin’ Up! workshop which meant I needed to get out my inks and stamps and get creative again. Easter is just around the corner so I thought I […]

I’m only seven days late, but I’ve made an advent calendar and thought I’d share it with you. I saw a similar version somewhere and just had to make one. I started with a piece of pine from the hardware store, painted in white and sanded it for that rustic look. I did the same […]

With two birthdays in September within a week of each other, it gets a little busy.  This year my 10 yr old had his birthday coincide with Father’s Day which made it even busier.  We organised a party with a few friends after school during the week and then a family gathering on Sunday which […]

14Oct10

For Stamp Club this month I showed the girls how easy it is to make a cute little gift.  This is what we made: This “cute as a bug” gift is really simple with the Big Shot and the new mini milk carton die that cuts and scores all the lines for you.  Just fold […]

Blog makeover

12Sep10

I’ve been working on a blog makeover and a blog header/banner for a fellow stampin’ up! demonstrator.  She loves fun so we thought we’d go with a party theme.  Here’s a sneak peek: I got to play with some of my new products from the new Idea Book & Catalogue from Stampin’ Up!.  And I absolutely […]

For my sister’s birthday party we decided it would be nice to have a small box of cards available that everyone could write a memory they have of her or something special about her.  That way she can sit down later and read them all and have a laugh, or cry, and hopefully enjoy the […]

I needed to come up with an idea for a Mother’s Day present for the girls in my youth group to make.  It needed to be simple and inexpensive.  This is what I came up with. Doesn’t it look impressive!  I found the idea at “Love, Paper, Scissors. Bug Art Design”.  Obviously I couldn’t afford […]
