Butterfly “Kraft”
Continuing with my obsession with kraft / crumb cake, I thought I’d try something different. Butterflies!
Butterflies aren’t different but for me these ones are. I don’t use butterflies much and I use glitter even less. So these are definitely rare!
I stamped the butterfly image (All a Flutter) in soft suede then I used baja breeze, daffodil delight and blushing bride to add some colour.
I used a retired set, For the Bride, to stamp a pattern on the wings and then used a sponge dauber to add highlights to the centre and on the edges of each butterfly. And to make it “different” I used a glue pen and glitter to add sparkle to the edges of the wings.
This one really was stretching my limits. What do you think? Did I take it too far from my usual?

not at all (too far from your usual!) – its still simple, elegant and totally GORGEOUS!!!!!! What a clever idea stamping the colour onto the butterflies with another stamp – you are totally the ideas woman! xxx Love it. And am loving the crumb cake also! 🙂 🙂 🙂
