Getting “Kraft”y

18Nov10

Lately I can’t get enough of Kraft.  That’s kraft (or crumb cake from Stampin’ Up!) coloured cardstock and ink and ribbon and all sorts of earthy natural tones. So for this card I combined that earthiness with some shine.

I have had this card in my “To CASE” file for quite some time.

And since it has been quite some time, I’m not sure where it comes from.  If someone knows, please let me know so that I can give credit where it’s due.

I used layers of white hearts punched from the heart to heart punch, glued together with a coloured heart on top.  Then to add the shine I covered to top of each heart with crystal effects.

Once they were all dry, I glued them on, stitched around the outside of the crumb cake (kraft) card with cream thread and stamped a greeting from the Apple Blossoms hostess stamp set.  The last step was to glue on a little bow made from cream twine.
