Christmas has appeared….
….in the shopping centres and all over the place. It’s only October! Isn’t it too early for all that?
Having said that, I know there are some things that have to be done in advance. Like making Christmas Cards. I’ve had a request to make 100 cards for a lovely lady. These will be her cards that she sends to family and friends so I have to think hard about what to do and how it should look.
I got together with a friend of mine and we made a few samples. My friend insists we need more samples. I think it’s just an excuse to keep stamping and making pretty things. And I won’t complain if we have to spend hours and hours making them 😉
Here’s a couple of the cards we made last week:
Love the embossing on these cards that was created using a texture plate. And these colours look so nice together. We used Crumb Cake, Real Red, Pear Pizzazz and Always Artichoke with a hint of Early Espresso in the second card.
Can’t wait to get back to “work” and make some more 🙂
