It has been such a long time since I did some stamping that I just had to do some! So today I sat down and made this card for my stamp club class.

I used the Vintage Vogue stamp set from the Autumn mini which I have just borrowed from a friend. I don’t own it {yet} but after playing with it today that may have to change. And believe it or not this is the first time that I have tried ruffled ribbon. It’s been doing the rounds on so many blogs and I’ve been meaning to try it for so long but haven’t had the opportunity to do so. I like it a bit messy but I’ll have to keep practicing, I think, to make it look a little better.

And I love how these flowers turned out. Regal Rose and Pretty in Pink are a perfect match with Kraft and Whisper White.

Yep. I think this stamp set is going to the top of my wish list 🙂

Amy, I can only echo everyone’s sentiments abt the card. I got VV the mo it came ot and have flogged it (seriously). I hadn’t realised HOW much I had used it til I started blogging the cards and projects….LOL. Yourcard has gone in my CASE file. I struggle with pinks and I love this combo. Dunno if I’d use ruffle ribbon, but it definitely adds a charm to the overall feel. I do hope you get your own VV set. You won’t regret it.
