Nothing is a waste
When I do a demonstration for a hostess I bring along some kits for people to make their own card and it’s quite often that I have left over kits. These kits of cut up card and ribbon tend to sit on my shelf and never get made up. But today I decided to do something about it. When I first made this card over a year ago I liked it but now not so much so I thought I’d change it a little.
This is the orignial card I made over a year ago:
And this is the card I made today using the same pieces of card and ribbon from the original design. The only piece I didn’t use was a square of Very Vanilla that was used for the cut out flower on the original card.
I love this stamp and don’t use it enough. And I always change the colour of the flower in her hair. It just adds that little bit extra.
This isn’t my favourite card ever but I still like it and it works. What do you think?

Yes, I have a whole bunch of kits that need to be made into cards … never enough hours in the day – or at the moment enough motivation to do it! One day … when all my kids are at school and I can just stamp all day … BLISS!
I know. At least I only have one and a half years left until mine are all in school. You still have another five or six!
oh, and it’s a beautiful card too!
Thanks
