Beautiful Blogger Award

I just received an email saying that I had been sent the Beautiful Blogger Award.  How sweet is that!  Thanks Louise.

There are a couple rules to receiving this award though.  The first is that I need to pass the award to 10 other Beautiful Blogs and the second is that I need to list 10 things about myself.

There are so many more that I could list and will do one day soon in my side bar.  But until then, go and have a look at these blogs and see what you think.

And now, 5 things about {my childhood}:

1.  I have 7 sisters and no brothers

2.  Growing up I was the “boy” of the family.

3.  For the first 4 years of primary school I never wore shoes at school (how feral is that!) and was always stubbing my big toe.

4.  I didn’t like pink or anything girly.

5.  I grew up 10 minutes from the most beautiful beaches but didn’t really like going there.

And 5 things about {me now}:

1.  I now have 10 brothers (in-law).

2.  I love being a girl – but still act like a boy when no one is looking.

3.  I still hate wearing shoes but I now have more decorum and always wear shoes when leaving the house.  🙂

4.  I love using pink in my craft work and I even wear pink too!

5.  I now live 45 minutes from the beach and don’t really miss going there at all.

And that makes 10!

Edited to include: I just received another email today (7th May) from Kerri D and she also sent this award to me.  Thanks Kerri, I really appreciate all the love I’m getting.  Makes me all warm and fuzzy inside. 🙂
