Home again, Home again….

Well, I made it back from the markets in one piece.  Although I think about  half of me melted in the sun.  It was a very beautiful day today in Brisbane but it was hot out there!

Sonja and I had a great time together today and it was a wonderful to experience the Southbank Markets from the other side.  The business side.  We arrived with plenty of time to set up and get ourselves ready and then we sat back and enjoyed meeting the people that stopped in to have a chat.  It is such a diverse range of people at these markets and we had people from all over the globe popping in.  There were English, Dutch, Scottish and American to name a few and of course all the awesome Brisbane locals that came by.

Although sales weren’t through the roof we had a great time and learned a few things that will come in handy next time.  I also handed out about 30 Teepee Brochures which is fantastic.  If you are one of those people, thanks for making me feel so awesome.  I’d love to be able to make a teepee for you and look forward to hearing from some of you soon.

We’re not sure when we’ll do it again and if we will go to this particular market or try a more specialised market for mums and babies / children.  One thing I do know is that it was a great experience and I’m glad we did it.

This is our little stall with Sonja as the model (hope you don’t mind me putting this up Sonja)

And this is my section of the stall with my little crafty items.

You must also check out Sonja’s facebook page “Teega by Sonja” to see her product.  She makes awesome breastfeeding covers that allow you to feed your baby in public but still allow you to be private about it.  Great idea and they make a perfect baby shower gift.  Sonja “modelling” again 😉

My poor Sad Teddy is really sad as no-one took him home 😦  Maybe next time.

I’ll have to post some more close up photos next week to show you some of the items I had on display.  If you want to see any of my regular “For Sale” items you can do so on my “Buy Exclusive” page.

Looks great Amy! You had a great looking stall there. Glad you had a good time. I’m sure you’ll get some teepee orders!
Is Sonja wearing a Breastfeeding cover? I’m coveting these made by Kisskiss HugHug and was planning to have a go at making my own when/if we have another baby, but if she’s already done the hard work….. Can you send my some details?? Hers looks great!
