Baroque Beauty
This is a card that I just had to make as soon as I saw it. I don’t own either of the stamp sets used but my friend does so I borrowed them as soon as I could.
One of my favourite colour combinations to use when you have an image that you really want to make ‘pop’ is Regal Rose and Grey. The contrast is just fantastic and makes for a very obvious focal point.
I didn’t have all the supplies needed to make the card exactly the same as Kirsty so I improvised. I didn’t have any Basic Gray Ribbon to go under the sentiment so I just used some cardstock instead and added a “faux” button. I made the button from a circle of Regal Rose cardstock and coated it with crystal effects.
It was supposed to be all shiny and lovely but I have some very inquisitive children and they just had to touch it before it was fully dry. I could have made another one easily enough but now this one has a vintage look about it and it’s nice to look at it and think that my children “helped” me with this card.

Indeed it does pop Amy. Fab colour combo. I love the way you have improvised with the supplies that u did not have. It’s awesome.
