Kindness Rewards

I’ve actually finished these with enough time to get them up here to show you before I go away for the weekend.  These are little surprises for the girls on camp.

If we see them doing something nice for another girl or helping out the leaders etc. we will leave a little chocolate on their pillow for them to discover later on.  We’ll write their name on the tag and (if we can fit it) a little “thank you for helping with….” message too.

Just something extra for them so they can have a yummy reward for their kindness to go along with the feeling of happiness they will get from helping others.  And maybe an incentive to help some more 😉

I bought some bite size indivually wrapped chocolates and then, being the obsessed “wrapper” that I am, I had to make them look special.  I used some brown paper and stamped the flower from the Always stamp set in White Craft ink.  Then I stamped one of the circle images from the Circle Circus stamp set in pretty in pink ink on Whisper White cardstock and punched it out with the 1 1/4 circle punch.  I mounted it on a 1 3/8 inch circle of Not Quite Navy and a scallop circle of Baja Breeze that I ran through my cuttlebug with the swiss dots embossing folder.  I tied it all together with some of that leftover crochet thread I used the other day.

I’m such a hoarder and never throw out left overs and I’m glad I didn’t as that crochet thread has been a life saver .  Even the brown paper that I have used here is actually the brown paper that is used for packaging in the packages that come from Stampin’ Up!  It’s too good to just throw away so I flatten it out and keep it to use later on.  It’s been quite handy indeed!
