Fifth Avenue Floral
I caved in recently and bought the much sort after Fifth Avenue Floral stamp set. This is my first attempt at using it. I have seen so many lovely designs but thought I’d keep this one simple and come up with my own.
I have used Pink Pirouette cardstock for the base and also the strip which has been stamped with the swirly stamp from the Baroque Motifs stamp set in Close to Cocoa and sponged around the edges. The Rose is stamped with Close to Cocoa also and coloured with Pretty in Pink using a blender pen. A piece of Close to Cocoa cardstock as a background mounted on white plus a Pretty in Pink ribbon give the finishing touches.
I’m not too happy with the colouring. I need to invest in some water colour paper to get the blending smoother. My wish lists gets longer every day!

Amy…pls don’t be too hard on urself darl. Your rose is devine!!! Tha colours are gentle and the Baroque Motif set compliments v v well. If u look at most blooms close up…u’ll see that the colour is NEVER even….so urs is ideal!!! I actually loved the rose at first sight. Well done.
the watercolour paper is a must Amy!! expensive, but really worth it for the better effect you get. Your card looks great though. I must be the only SU demo who doesn’t like 5th Ave … I am not going to buy it, not even to demo – it’s just not me!
