Breezy Sail Boat

18Jun09

I hope you’re not getting sick of my ‘copying lately but there are just so many fabulous cards out there which means I don’t have to think.  This is another from Sarah at Janeybell.  I’ve made a few adjustments and I love how it has turned out.  I loved Sarah’s but I think I love mine even more (not very humble, am I?).  This is now on the top of my favourite list.

I have used the Nursery Necessities stamp set with Baja Breeze card, ink and designer series patterned paper, Close to Cocoa ink and a little bit of natural hemp twine to tie on the tag for an added nautical effect. I sponged all the white edges with Close to Cocoa to create a roughness that you would see with wood but the cuteness and crispness of the little sail boat ensures that it is definitely a card for a little baby boy.

What I’ve used:

Stamp Set – Nursery Neseccities

Cardstock – Baja Breeze and Whisper White with Baja Breeze Designer Series Patterned Paper

Inks –  Baja Breeze and Close to Cocoa

Accessories – Natural Hemp Twine, Sponge

This card screams little boy. It is cute to boot. The twine is great and all the blues together work so beautifully. Awesome job.
