Soft Organic Outlines
Well after seeing Sarah’s post for Makeesha’s Inspiration Challenge I was inspired to give it a go. I actually love white stamped images and this inspiration challenge is the perfect excuse to use whisper white ink.

As soon as I saw the inspiration picture I knew that I had to use my Organic Outlines stamp set for this card. The main leaf image I have stamped in Whisper White ink on Mellow Moss cardstock which I distressed around the edges with the blade from a pair of scissors and then mounted on Whisper White cardstock. The white ink is not quite as bright as I would have hoped but I think that is because my ink pad is a bit too dry. But after I put the card together I rather like it that way as it blends in more allowing the cute Baja Breeze flowers to really pop out (plus they are raised using stampin’ dimensionals)
The base card is Sahara Sand and I stamped the outline leaf image from the Organic Outlines set in Sahara Sand randomly to create a background pattern. It’s a little hard to se in my poor quality photos but I have used a sponge and applied Whisper White ink onto the leaves to give it more body and make it appear as though there is a shadow on the leaves.
I finished it off with a sentiment from the hostess stamp set Best Yet which I stamped in Mellow Moss, edged with Baja Breeze and mounted on a tab of Baja Breeze which I cut out with my Designer Label punch. Lastly I added a Whisper White bow to make it look like it is tied around the stem of the leaves.
