Little Cutie
This beautiful card is a copy of one by Sarah-Jane Kale. I had to make one for a boy and one for a girl. I like the original version which is the blue one best. I probably should have changed the green on the pink card to another colour but it’s still ok.
For the boy I have used Baja Breeze cardstock, designer patterned paper and striped ribbon, So Saffron and certainly Celery Cardstock and Certainly Celery Ink for the star.
For the cute moon image I have cut a scallop circle from Whisper White with my Scallop Circle Punch, then a 1 3/8″ circle from the Baja Breeze designer paper. The moon I made by cutting a 1 1/4″ circle from So Saffron and then taking a “chunk” out with my 1″ circle punch. The star is from the stamp set Nursery Necessities but could easily be replaced with a star punched out with the small star punch. It really is a simple card to make and looks stunning.
The baby girl card is made the same way I just used Regal Rose cardstock and grosgrain ribbon along with Pink Pirouette Designer Patterned Paper in place of the Baja Breeze.

I like the pink with the green – both are very cute cards!
Ooohhhh now the GIRLY version is absolutely SCRUMPTIOUS. It’s PERFECT.
Might have to case your Pretty Pink Version now.

ooh Oohh… I forgot to say, what a BRILLIANT way to make a moon. I’m definately going to do that!!!!

It is a very easy way to make a moon! The pink and green is growing on me the more I see it.
And thanks again everyone for the comments. This is the most comments I’ve ever had. Sad, but true. Keep it coming as I love it. Hopefully it doesn’t go to my head.
Bec… I’ll be popping in to say hi!!! You’ll get sick of me!!! hahaha
If I’d known you had your little place over here earlier, I most definately would’ve been visiting.
xx S
Yay. I have another friend 🙂
Ok, so I’ve just realised I made a big BOO BOO and called you Bec… I’m so sorry Amy… Please forgive. I’m going to blame lack of sleep due to a ‘grumpy little 8mth old baby!!!” :o).
xx Sarah
No worries. I don’t mind what you call as long as you keep hanging around 🙂
I hope your 8mth old doesn’t stay grumpy for too long so that you can catch up on your sleep. I know how it feels to be sleep deprived. I think it’s nearly a permanent state of being for me.
