Christmas in July
My sisters, my mum and I (all 9 of us!) are getting together in July to make all our Christmas cards as well as some gift boxes and an advent calender so that we can be prepared this year before Christmas is over. It’s my job (because I own all the supplies) to come up with the ideas and get it all ready. I sat down yesterday and grabbed a few of my favourite colours and changed my Birds and Swirls card into a Christmas card.
Not the most traditional card but I think that it still says “Christmas” beautifully. I have used Riding Hood Red, Mellow Moss, Close to Cocoa and Very Vanilla. The stamp sets are ‘Always’ and the Level 1 hostess set ‘Best Yet’.
I lent my cuttlebug embossing folders to a friend and also my paper piercing tools so I didn’t get to use them on this card. I think that it still looks very nice without it. What do you all think? Do you like a more traditional card or something a bit more contemporary for Christmas?
Once I get some feedback from my sisters I’ll make some more cards and gift boxes to show you in the chosen colour scheme etc. But for now, have a very merry June to you all. (I can’t believe it’s June already!)

Nice use of that stamp set Amy. I just received my order of Christmas stamps and can’t wait to get stuck into them preparing for monthly christmas stamp a stacks between now and christmas! Never too early to start!
Well done Amy!!!! Different and unusual (hee hee hee – she says in that Fountain Lakes twang). The RRR amd MM make a wonderful colour combo. The C to C warms it up even more. Its the kinda design that u could do many of in a short time if needed. Yes…it’s JUNE…ARRGGGHHH. Better dust off those Chrissy stamps and get cracking. How’d last Tues go??
Gorgeous card Amy! Thanks for joining in my challenge :o)
