Challenge Card

Well I have finally decided to play along with a couple of the challenges that are bouncing around cyberspace.  And to make it easier on myself I have combined them into 1 card.  The two challenges are – an inspiration colour challenge from Kristina Werner and these are the colours

and a sketch challenge from Mojo Monday and this is the sketch

So basically I used these colours and this sketch to make my card.  In the last 9 months of being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator I haven’t once used the colour More Mustard.  And I know this because when I pulled out my cardstock that I got in my starter kit I still has all the pieces of More Mustard in the packet.  So this was a real challenge for me. (Poor colours in the photos.  Sorry)

I’ve used the Garden Whimsy stamp set and my Scallop Edge Punch and of course my new Cuttlebug to emboss the dots along the strip of More Mustard cardstock.  And just to be a bit different I made the card open in the front.  The label that says ‘best friends listen’ overlaps the left hand side and keeps it all shut.
