Part of a Team

One of my favourite things about being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator is that I am part of a team.  Not only do I have wonderful help from the lovely Steph (who got me hooked) but the rest of her team are fantastic too.  I finally made it to my first team meeting and had a great time.  There were a lot like me who were there for the first time but that doesn’t mean they were any less awesome than the rest.  I want to say a big thank you to all who were there at the team meeting for making it fun and sharing great ideas and tips.  Thank you!

Not only was it informative and helpful it was also hands-on and fun.  We each got to make a card that was prepared by Linda Craven and this is how mine turned out.

The image is from the Crazy for Cupcakes stamp set and the words are from the Best Yet stamp set (which is only available to hostesses).  We also stamped the background with the Polka Dot Background stamp. We used Chocolate Chip, Pretty in Pink and Regal Rose inks and cardstock with a strip of Sweet Always Designer Series Paper and the gorgeous ribbon is Regal Rose.  We used the Designer Label Punch, Oval Punch and the Scallop Edge Punch.  The extra bling is Dazzling Diamonds glitter that we adhered using a 2-way glue pen and we also added some paper piercing (I’m loving paper piercing at the moment).

Just on the side, if you were to join up as a demonstrator with me you would also be part of Steph’s team and would be able to come along and join in team meetings and share the benefits of being with so many other wonderful demonstrators.
